NITRIPERVALIDA COLLECTION GROUP

This part of my website is greatly inspired by HORG. I made this to document pull tabs, soda tabs, or Nitripervalida(comes from ‘soda shard’ in latin) more thoroughly. The families are classified by the shapes of their ‘oral groves’. I also want to mention that I am not the first person to do this. pulltabarchaeology.com and tabistry.blogspot.com are both amazing websites which provide great info on this topic!

If you have any recommendations for NCG I will be willing to discuss them with you in the official NCG discord server!

Most photos are from my friend’s website! Check it out!

Duoforaminis

Nitripervalida that have two oral groves.

Figuraforaminis

Nitripervalida that have two holes, but the main oral grove is shaped and smaller than usual Duoforaminis Nitri. Believed to be the chain between the evolution from Duoforaminis to Opertoforaminis.

Opertoforaminis

Nitripervalida with no oral grove, but a Secondary oral grove.

Acutiforaminis

Nitripervalida with some sort of square secondary oral grove. Even if a Nitripervalida suits multiple categories, it will still be considered a Acutiforaminis if it has any square shaped oral grove.

Nonforaminis

Nitripervalida with one big oral grove, which contains the rivet.

Unumforaminis

Nitripervalida with one big oral groove, and a rivet attaching to the outside of the body.

Sub-Nitripervalida

Nitripervalida that are made of plastic or metal but are not removable.
